This is the first time that I read something from Dr. Wayne W. Dyer and I will certainly continue to read his other books.
Excuses Begone! explains how we are so afraid to do anything, even actions to improve our lives, that we create and feed a number of excuses that stop us from moving our behinds. We all know these lurkers called excuses. They range from ‘I do not have money’ to ‘I have no energy’ or ‘I am sick’ and so on.
Dr Dyer gives us a new perspective and tells in a very compelling way how to change our thought process to get rid of those inhibiters called excuses, and finally be able to do something with our lives. It may seem that inaction is easier than action but it makes us so much more unhappy that it is not really worth it.
I believe that we should give ourselves a chance to try something new for a change and see, just as an experiment, how wonderful our lives could be if we were to be free, completely free of those breaks called excuses.
I got the audio book narrated by the author. His voice is soft, clear, and he speaks at a good pace even for those for whom English is not their first language. Vocabulary and concepts are easy to understand. I recommend this reading.
